Not just ti-tigon and tigon.....even from the liger and tigon themselves, we can differ those two...liger is much more bigger than tigon..I was wondering about it too...

I think this is the website with all the cute liger and tigon pics. But if u want to do heavy research I would start at the library. Although there is a limited amount of books, and most books have only a few pages on these creatures go ahead see what u can find.

When horses and donkeys are bred the offspring - muels are created, who are infertile due to odd amount of chromozones

Is this the same with Tigons and Ligers? Can they too reproduce?

ligers

Postby charles brough on Sat Jun 11, 2005 5:09 pm

Mention was made of 200 lions or ligers in the Gir forests. Where is that? I lived in Singapore for two years and frequented the large forest in the center of the little nation. I went all through it without concern. I never saw any game or any snakes. Also, it should be noted that military exercises are often conducted there. It was stated by everyone that there were no lions in Singapore except in the zoo, and they have a fine zoo which one can see on a tram at night as well as during the day. The only animals I ever so were short tailed markaws(spelling!) monkeys. They could sometimes be found in folage in front of a nearby shopping mall. At the time I was there (10 yrs ago) they had the largest arborium in the world (they claimed). It had an immense waterfall in it.

It might be of interest to you all, that the worst jungle of forests I have ever been in are right here in Missouri! There are poisonous snakes, mosquitos, poison ivy, chiggers and tics galore, and a certain plant with myrads of spines everywhere that attaches to your pants and has to be pulled off. The jungle of Singapore, Panama, Sumatra and Hawaii were all pleasant to hike in, in contast. I avoid the forest here like the plague!
