Male characteristic of offspringWhich parent usually contributes X-linked characteristic to male offspring and which to female offsprings?
For the male offspring, all X-linked characteristics come from the mother.
For the female offspring, that duty is evenly shared between both parents. Kyle
Re: Male characteristic of offspringif X comes from female and male gender - offspring is female-XX, then is during embryo development random inactivation one of X chromosome and the result is one X and Barr's body in cells
