EEGHi there
I volunteered to take part in the above for my tutor for her research and just wondering if theres anything wrong with it-as it does it do damage to your brain or somthing like theres no "aftermath" effects of it right? Cheers biology+06er
haha true..but cos I wanna major in neuroscience I figured why not...then again I can always pull put of it..
so I did the experiement today---was the poffenberger--had to press spacerbar everytime i saw a dot on either side of a cross--what i'm interested is whilst doing this experiement i was thinking of other things eg: try not to blink or simpsons...do the parts of the brain in charge of that show up like as in bigger spikes...(research measured the time it takes for visual information to be transferred between the hemispheres.)
yeah dumb question but oh well biology_06er
It all depends upon what parts of the brain were being monitored. I suspect the distractions affected the readings, but that has to be expected in this type of research (well, I guess it doesn't have to be, since I've seen too many studies that assume subjects follow their directions perfectly).
So, have the horrible headaches started yet? Just kidding.
I kinda feel bad but twas hard to not think of other things
