Embryo Development

Can someone please explain to me the stages of the embryonic development I've tried studying and memorizing but still no good so if someone could show me like a trick or something to help memorizing them(in order please) i would really appreciate it. Thank You

Which stages do you need to know? The stages vary according to the course you're learning.

you start with one cell... becomes a ball of cells... a fluid cavity forms... it loses it's outer coat... implants in the endometrium (lining of womb)... placenta formation and growth... and if you are lucky in 38 weeks you have made a baby...

it is actually quite amazing if you think that it all that started off as one cell...

zygote, blastula, morula, gastrula, embryo

gametogenesis
fertilization
blastulation
gastrulation
neurulation= only in Chordates
organogenesis

I think embryo development and fertilization is different

Embryo development is started from zygote, thus no need to discuss about ovum, sperms, and gametogenesis...

Zygote is the starting point
