Sexual Reproduction Question

Postby dancer4Christ » Sat Jan 22, 2005 6:16 am

Hey all!
We are learning about sexual reproduction and my teacher had a question. How are twins formed. She knew that there could be two eggs fertilized, but how are the identical twins formed? Post soon so I can get extra credit! :D
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Identical eggs are formed when the zygote or blastula goes through mitosis in such a way that the cells separate into two different blastulas instead of staying one big bundle.
