URGENT! Suggestion for microscopeWould you please give me some suggestions on microscope, please? I need to purchase some microscopes for students, which we will use it for haematology and histology observation. Links and/or pics will be okay if it would be classified as ads, which does not allowed in this forum. Or, you can PM me for specs. Thank you very much.

I tried to reply to this yesterday, but the site was too wonky (it still is, to some extent).
I would just warn you that, if possible (and I'm not sure it is), stay away from microscopes manufactured in China. We've gotten a couple of different types in the last years, and they were both defective upon delivery and very prone to problems soon after.
What about US product? I read the specification and it is quite similar to Japan product, but this US thing price is just a half of Japan thing. I also read comments from customers who purchased it. It is Omano.

I wasn't aware that there was an American (as in produced in the U.S.) product. There are a lot of American vendors...
I've been looking at internet sites, and most of them don't mention where the products are made - it's probably something you'd have to ask.
Omano E-ZVU digital LCD microscopes as well as a full range of monocular, binocular and trinocular microscopes for research, biological, student and other professional applications are good enough with a limited life time warrenty.
Omano 10x-30x Stereo Trinocular Microscope also avialable. http://www.microscopestore.com/browse.asp?c=10
Thank you. I already visited the page, that's why I got the clue to try Omano microscope. It seems great but still affordable ![]()
