I always get confused with the words, afferent and efferent.

Can you help me, in anyway, in remembering that names?

'a' comes before 'e'

'afferent' comes before 'efferent'

impulses must go to the brain first (afferent) and then go from the brain to their effector (efferent)

Actually i wasn't talking about brain in particular. But i got way to remember them (with a few modification to your answer)
