??????everyone seems to be pretty buff on if you can live off blood but does anyone know if you can live off milk? as ive been trying to put weight on for some time now and ive only started to show signs since ive been drinking alot of milk. but by drinking alot of milk i find i cannot stomach nowhere near as much food. but i am putting on weight not even as fat but muscle. Is there any dangers that i havent htought of? the milk gives me enough protein, calories. and if i had to say either id say i feel alot more healthy living off milk.
Hmmm... Yes you can. BUT you will not be 100% healthy. Milk does contain proteins-mostly cazein. But it is rich in only 4(extremely rich in phenilalanine)of the 8 essential aminoacids
Also, it does not have all the minerals and vitamins you need Regards, Andrew "As a biologist, I firmly believe that when you're dead, you're dead. Except for what you live behind in history. That's the only afterlife" - J. Craig Venter
And milk contains a whole load of hormones that are not too healthy for you.

Here's a list of "bad stuff" in milk. The dairy industry of today is highly contaminated:
· Pituitary hormones (PRL, GH, TSH, FSH, LH ACTH Oxytocin) · Steroid hormones (Estradiol, Estriol, Progesterone, Testosterone, 17-Ketosteroids, Corticosterone, Vitamine D) · Hypothalamic hormones (TRH, LHRH, Somatostatin, PRL-inhibiting factor, PRL-releasing factor, GnRH, GRH) · Thyroid and Parathyroid hormones (T3, T4, rT3, Calcitonin, Parathormone, PTH peptide) · gastrointestinal peptides (Vasoactive intestinal peptide, Bombesin, Cholecystokinin, Gastrin, Gastrin inhibitory peptide, Pancreatic peptide, Y peptide, Substance P and Neurotensin) · Growth Factors (IGF's (I and II), IGF binding proteins, Nerve growth factor, Epidermal growth factor and TGF alpha, TGF beta, Growth Inhibitors MDGI and MAF, and Platelet derived growth factor · Others... (PGE, PGF2 alpha, cAMP, cGMP, Delta sleep inducing · peptide, Transferrin, Lactoferrin, Casomorphin and Erythropoietin... "Take four red capsules, in ten minutes take two more. Help is on the way."

Correct me if i am wrong, but those hormones, like any protein, aren't digested into aminoacids?

Even if they are digested, I mean it can't be as healthy as it could be. Which one would you drink: (1) a glass of ice cold milk from an idependent farmer who uses no drugs on his cattle except for normal worming shots, etc. OR (2) a glass of ice cold milk from a large dairy farmer who pumps up his cattle with all sorts of growth hormones, etc. to help the cattle produce more beef upon slaughter? I think I would choose the first one.

Re: Can you live off milk?Ok here's a serious question and this is the only board i can find that is talkin about this..
I'm currently doing this, drinking about 1 1/2 gallons a day to put on weight quick.. it works really well and i've just not been able to eat enough to see this kinda quick gain.. so.. what foods and supplements do i need to get to eat also to substitute for the missing amino acids and vitamins i'm not getting currently. i'm doing 1000 Vit C and a daily vitamin (multi vit), and vit E 400 iu every other day.. i especially would like to know what to eat to get the missing things i need, and i can't find any info on it elsewhere. which foods would be highest in the missing amino acids cause i really like this milk diet. i should be able to put on about 30lb in a few months at this rate i think, but i don't wanna be deficient in other areas. thanks all..
Google complete proteins. Most animal products should contain all AA. I would supplement with eating eggs, fruits, and veggies, and grains.
Watch out for those stretch marks after putting on 30 lbs in a matter of months. Have you thought about consulting with a nutritionist?

You're right, but how than is it possible to get allergy to food? http://www.biolib.cz/en/main/
Cis or trans? That's what matters.
