well mostly LH just spikes around day 14 of the menustral cycle and causes ovulation to occur. (from memory)

All of you explained the role of LH in female system. Don't forget, LH also play an important, veeery important, role in male system. It stimulates intestitial cells to produce androgens, mostly testosteron

Do you mean ICSH? Interstitial Cell-Stimulating Hormone? ICSH is synonim of LH

Yes..that's what I mean..(I think I got the wrong name after read about ACTH.. ).
The first time I think that FSH is for female too because it cause the producing of Follicle de Graff isn't it?? But I think that it works also for the male in producing sperm..

I often get confused because of the 'Follicle' word that's included in the FSH and follicle de graff. Of course men don't have follicle de graff..

Yeah, that's a natural confusion hehe... Well, it just because that hormone first discovered in female system, which stimulates the development of primary follicle into a mature one (Graffian follicle)
