EARSS Annual Report 2005
The European Antimicrobial Resistance Surveillance System (EARSS), funded by DG SANCO of
the European Commission, is an international network of national surveillance systems which col-
lects comparable and validated antimicrobial susceptibility data for public health action.
EARSS performs continuous surveillance of antimicrobial susceptibility for seven major bacterial
pathogens Streptococcus pneumoniae, Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus faecalis, Enterococcus
faecium, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae and Pseudomonas aeruginosa causing invasive
infections and monitors variations of antimicrobial resistance over time and place.
In December 2005, over 900 microbiological laboratories serving some 1400 hospitals from 32 coun-
tries had provided susceptibility data of almost 400,000 invasive isolates.
An interactive website is available at http://www.rivm.nl/earss, where up-to-date details can be found on
country-specific resistance levels for important groups of antibiotics.

Following the official launch of the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control on the 27 September the inaugural meeting of the ECDC’s Management Board was held on the 28 September.
At this meeting Dr. Marc Sprenger, Director-General of the National Institute for Health and Environment (RIVM) in the Netherlands, was appointed as Chairman of the ECDC’s Management Board with Dr. Meni Malliori, Assistant Professor in Psychiatry at the University of Athens and a former Member of the European Parliament, elected as Deputy Chair.

I have just checked into this thread after a couple of days of working like a dog day and night. I see that the ongoing saga of Tam Tam has taken an interesting turn. It appears that there is now discussion of investment and funding. Well isn’t that special.

Folks, please allow me to tell you how investing works in the real world. If a legitimate research biologist had discovered the causal agent for an unknown disease that is affecting the health of thousands, perhaps even millions of people worldwide, a disease that to date has even eluded university research labs and the CDC, then that person or group that has identified the causal agent would not have to seek investment capital on a discussion group on the internet. To obtain private investment capital, such a legitimate research entity would only need to compile validating data and present it to any number of private investment firms in New York, Paris, London, Brussels, Frankfurt, Tel Aviv, ……etc, and request prospectus development assistance. Any legitimate research entity that truly held the key to this medical mystery would have a prospectus in hand within days.

People who troll the internet for desperate, frightened people in search of funding so that they may “solve the problem” are called scam artists. Never invest money without first having an investment attorney review a prospectus to determine its legitimacy.

Once again folks, the short term solution lies within yourself in that you improve your health to its peak level. The long term solution lies in working with legitimate activist organizations and physicians, then lobbying your elected representatives for assistance.

I wish each of you peace, prosperity, health and the only true treasure which lies within the spirit.

It is obvious that if anyone tries to do anything to help, this thread MUST stop them dead in their tracks.

Anyways..I and the MRF have not gotten along in quite some time so your information is incorrect.

I now have someone who will do a story. It is an important story as I thank Tam, which usually happen once a month , to my surprise, for pointing out.

Mary will not give me ANY info to help since she feels in competition and not in communion, as she should be.

We all need to work together but that is not happening and I will do what I can to do what I can.

No, I do not Rodger anything. I am a civilian now and do not take orders from anyone anymore. Do you comprehend that?

Now, why on Earth would you be so happy to see anyone attempt to put a military twist on this condition when there is none? Why does this make you happy?

It's very simple reasoning Sabrina. There is no other group of Americans who are more qualified to bring the principles of achieving objectives in an organized, unified, and cohesive manner as regarding this physical problem than veterans.

In addition to that, we veterans have earned the right, as by law, to be provided with reasonably adequate health care as provided by the US Veterans Administration. We have earned such by placing our lives on the line for our nation.

If you believe that Tam Tam is bringing legitimacy and unity to this cause, then by all means fire for effect.

Step one..get a web of doctors following our intake protocol.

We just got another one is Arizona ..not Schwartz but another one from a concerned reader of this site. THANK YOU!

Please keep those doctors numbers coming in and by this time next month maybe we will have all the states with one doctor in each.

Then we follow an intake protocol across the board, have one doctor compile data, write a peer reviewed paper and get funding.

That is my dream, hope and what I pray for!
