Do YOU accept the theory of natural selection? And why was it only gradually accepted?

natural selection???....yeah why not? :P And just an additional note, I DO believe in God. :D

Also when natural selection was first proposed by Darwin as a mechanism for evolution there was no molecular biology existing at that time that would have allowed him to explain how certain traits are inherited.

In addition I think that many evolutionary biologists are now questioning whether or not natural selection is the ONLY evolutionary mechanism responsible for the evolutionary history that can be inferred from fossils and molecular data.

A priest told me once that he believed in evolution and that God is the natural selector who choses which traits to discard and which to keep..... :? :? :?
