I wasn't talking about religion, but more of your local laws, whether that be federal, provincial, or what, I don't know

I feel that these days, trust is more of an important commitment than sex. If that makes sense, im not saying our bodies are free, but sex can be beautiful even if a couple is not married. Waiting for sex wont mean as much as a truly trusting, clear communicating relationship. In my opinion, i dont believe in love, unless it is shared between a parent and a child. I dunno, maybe im negative? or overcautious? but love needs respect and trust, and i find it a great risk to be able to trust someone to the extent as relying on one another- as i see my parents' relationship. Husband and wife are a team, unfortunately a lot of ppl do not respect this sanctity and commitment. I have had a sweetheart yes, at the age of thirteen, it was a great feeling, but no i cannot call it love. As for religions and beliefs i would also regard someone who readily gives up their religion as flaky? but sometimes people are born into a religion and are not very religious so in that case such things do not form boundaries for them. But to try and make a family with two different belief systems or even cultures would become a problem, especially when children enter the scene!! hmm an interesting thread
