SyndromeHm, according to me, most syndrome happens because of mutation in the chromosomes. It can happen inside the Autosomes (22A) or Gonosome (XY). Is the harm effect of those syndromes is really that bad?(especially Down Syndrome).

I'm not sure if this was your question- but Down's Syndrome is caused by the inheritance of one extra chromosome, known as a mutation.

I think he asked how those mutations effect the organism. And we it is already answered.
