HELP on term paper topics!!

Hi all...

I have a term paper and there were these topics suggested to work on as a term paper:

1.Food additive: report can be on general topic of food additives – benefits vs health hazard, etc. or on a specific additive.

2.Diets: A) do an analysis of one diet or compare diets. Can look at effectiveness of diets; potential health hazards, etc. Some diets are: Atkin’s diet, the Zone diet, the carbohydrate addicts diet, weight watchers. If you have a specific diet in mind, do it. B) Study one of the diet drugs with respect to efficiency or health risks.

3.Vegetarian vs omnivorous diet – consider the health aspects and/or the environmental aspects.

4.HIV – prevention and/or cures

5.Post fire logging – the ecological and economic aspect.

6.Managing forest for fire prevention

I chose to write about Food Additives because it really concerns me especially regarding kids health.

the requirements for the term paper are as follow:

- Paper must be a minimum of 5 pages of text, double spaced.
- Paper must have a minimum of 4 references. References are not counted as part of the five pages of text.


Here, I need your ideas for possible discussion questions that would lead to a solid term paper. I searched the topic and I will post some related links for you to tell me if they are good references to be used in such a paper.
