The Fiber DiseaseModerator: BioTeam mrcpvis,
Okay on this end. Yep. Here is some additional information: http://www.rsc.org/publishing/journals/ ... i=B303949H Nadas, So you have been to the mountain. Thanks for info. Doc44: Oh yeah, glad I put the brakes on. Skytroll
WAIT.. It get even more confusing. Ive been sitting on this for a while now, not quite sure what to make of it.. searching my ip address information returns this SBC Internet Services SBCIS-SBIS-6BLK.........
BUT my website statistics service however Lists my IP as having origination from this company which is located in G. Britain Ntl Bia - Leeds Seacroft Harrogate Cam Dhcp Pool. anyone know anything about NTL internet service in the UK? http://www.ntltelewestbusiness.co.uk/ But Wait Again.. It gets even better. There is roughly 40 other visitors to crossinglines.net that list as coming from the NTL. But almost all have locations stemming from the US. From what I gather, these 40 or so visitors are frequent visitors to the site, meaning likely suffering from this crap. Also NTL seems to provide service, or is a route through, for SBC, Bellsouth, RR(roadrunner), Virgin, Rogers, covad, suddenlink, frontiernet, videotron.ca, sprint etc etc. Basically all the major providers minus AOL. So If I run an ip whois from my pc it will give the sbcglobal origination. But my 3rd party statistic service sees me as coming from an NTL origination. Very confusing to me. Can anyone share any info on why this may be, besides being monitored that is? might this be eschelon or similiar? Southcity

Just so happens I'm English with a communications expert pal in the UK. I'll see what I can find out.

We all need a little laughter. Try this. It is amazing. Even my eyesight seems better.

Hi South
NTL and Telewest were (as far as I'm aware) two rival telephone, internet and cable TV providers here in the UK that merged some time ago. I was a Telewest customer for years and they provided a good service. They do have interests/links in the USA and NTL is owned by Delaware Corp. I can see why you'd be seeing NTL and Telewest customers hitting your site but no idea why your IP appears part of a block allocated to NTL/Telewest ....unless there's a business link between your ISP and Delaware, Telewest or NTL. Either way I'm inclined to believe that there's a very good reason for what you're seeing and it's nothing to worry about. Just a call to your ISP should (after several hours on hold) yield some answers. Worth checking out though. Please let us know if you find anything. UKguy
South,
How about from outer space? http://groups.google.com/group/news.adm ... a227a32a36 http://www.senderbase.org/search?oOrder ... sky-net.ro skytroll
yo southcity ... . .
your efforts are spot on and it appears as if you have done your home work.... . sounds like the NSA bottle necking proxys being outsourced to UK... . if not Eschelon its most likely BEAST if the party in question emails you run Forensic ToolKit on the mail to uncover automated monitoring sequencing http://gbppr.trighost.org/aleph1/index.html Forensic Toolkit The Forensic ToolKit contains several Win32 Command line tools that can help you examine the files on a NTFS disk partition for unauthorized activity. ahh. . . .. .. . . and if we were not enough paranoid.. . . . and SKYTROL remember a while back when we were hot on the Ga trail? check the last article... Biomolecular Sensors PROJECT DESCRIPTION We are developing a rapid, reagentless, hand-held technology for the electronic detection of DNA, proteins and small molecules. Our first generation sensor achieved picomolar sensitivity (parts per trillion) against DNA targets and works even in complex, contaminant-ridden samples such as blood serum and soil. Under the auspices of the ICB we have improved the sensor?s detection limit a thousand fold and are well on our way to the detection limits required for direct detection of unamplified pathogen DNA. We have also generalized the approach to the detection of proteins (diagnostic of pathogens or disease) and small molecules (such as drugs) directly in blood serum and other complex, contaminant-ridden samples. On-the-fly detection of specific DNA sequences, proteins and small molecules would revolutionize BW and CW agent detection, as well as, the detection of clinical pathogens and genetic markers of significant interest to the military and civil defense communities. Spinning and Growing Organic-Inorganic Hybrid Fibers for Textile-Inbedded Sensors TEAM Bio-inspired Materials and Energy PROJECT DESCRIPTION We have developed a platform technology to integrate organic, inorganic, and biological materials and combinations of these materials into liquid crystals, films, fibers and textiles. The incorporation is independent of the materials used. We in vision this method as a way to incorporate any bioreceptor or ligand receptor into a fiber or textile along with a signal amplifier. So far we have focused on creating the viruses to form this general platform to bind any materials of interest. We will focus on GaN as a signal amplifier. In addition the incorporation of semiconductor materials into these structure can be used for flexible optics and optical waveguides, antennae, and high aspect ratio materials for catalysis, energy storage, and energy generation http://www.icb.ucsb.edu/research/teams_ ... p?TeamID=2 -NADAS
reliefseekerjust to let everyone know, reliefseeker has been unable to post on this forum since yesterday am. she has contacted the moderator but so far has gotten no response. what gives?
PPYwhatevernumberitwas:
Please tell reliefseeker we hope s/he is well. How is leg doing? Have been worried about you. I had a similar computer glitch last week, but got a comp-lit friend to figure it out. FRUSTRATING. TamTam - If you want us to unite and find answers based on those links, I am afraid that wont stand. What is your next suggestion? I respect all that you have said thus far, but need the real story. Needs to hold up in court. I can see you know. However, what you have just wont suffice. Obviously, guilty party already knows this. Thank you ... BARZ
