Is this sample biological?

I found some white powder in an air conditioning unit and would appreciate knowing if the material is biological. I think that it is a type of mold but would like a second opinion. I am enclosing a picture taken with a microscope at 100x.

seems like a mold or fungus growing. btw A/C's should be cleaned every 3-6 months

Yes, that's why it needs to be clean regularly. Those molds grow there because of the humidity. Though AC provides cool air but the machine produces heat, which result in a humidity, where pioneer microorganisms are supported to start inhabit
