graphic modelling for bio???what are the features needed for a biological computer modelling software???
Re: graphic modelling for bio???
Well, definitely depends on the topic. For example, if it is discussing human body we need a different software when it is discussing molecular biology etc. ![]()
Well, it will be MORE difficult if you put it in general. First chapters of Biology discuss about molecular basic, then body systems, then taxonomical things, then ecological, then genetics substances...
As a member told you, you need 3D things, bio arts, photomicrographs, landscapes figures, species collection, models for molecular basics... ![]()
I still don't understand what sort of modelling you mean.
There are various applications for biochemical modelling (chemical structures of substances or their 3d structures) and others. If you're interesting in bio-art you may use Photoshop or Corel set as well, however I'm sure there are professional programmes that provide modelling of various structures, cells, tissues etc. for biologists and researchers.
There's also process modeling, like modeling the growth rate of a tumor or the number of senescent cells in a tissue. This has nothing to do with creating images.
If you're talking about 3D modeling of a biologically important molecule, like a ribosome, you should take a look at PyMol and the PDB (to get structure data). Vi veri veniversum vivus vici
