DNA analysis softwareOk...I am having trouble finding a DNA analysis software out there that can check things like self-complementarity of long stretches of DNA. If anyone knows of a program readily available on the Internet, please let me know. I also already have access to DNASTAR, but I'm not very familiar with it. If anyone knows if DNASTAR can do this, please let me know. Thanks.
BioEdit?Have you ever used BioEdit? I am not sure if it would detect self-complementarity within a sequence, but it might work. I am not very experienced with it, as has been evidenced. Let me know if it works for you.
I know a homepage that has alot of that kind of things, similarities between two nucleotide sequences and so on. http://www.expasy.org
