Acidity!!!Hello everybody !!
i was wondering , what effect does water with soda or carbonic acid have on the pH value of our body. this drink helps to reduce the acidity level of our body or it increse it . Replies will be appretiated . sam
CO2 increases acidity, so lowers the pH.
I couldn't get when you say "body". I think you meant stomach, because, you know, body (blood) pH is kept constant. It matters not how strait the gate
How charged with punishment the scroll I am the Master of my fate I am the Captain of my soul.
hi there ! thanx for your reply . Well with body i mean definately stomach . well i am not a medical professional , so didn't know that . well but again my question was th emineal water that we drink contains '' Ca , Sodium , Hydrogen carbonate , magnesium and flouride. Then again on the bottle its written , water with carbonic acid .
My question is , is this kind of water good for the person who suffers from acidity or it makes ur stomach more acidic?
well, is it written on that bottle about how many ppm of diluted carbon dioxyde into carbonic acid? I think it doesn't matter since the level of carbonic acid in that water is still in the safe level...
Q: Why are chemists great for solving problems?
A: They have all the solutions.
Now I wanna ask....is this really caused by a high acidity in my stomach?
I think it's about a month ago, I ate many lemon-mint candies...hmm..I think it's about more that 20 candies in an hour. Then, when it came to the night, suddenly my stomach felt really painfull... Q: Why are chemists great for solving problems?
A: They have all the solutions.
Hmm, lol, could it be due to you having eaten something wrong that didn't agree with your stomach instead? :p
Like allready stated above something probably just didnt agree with your stomach. Candie= not good for the body a lot of candie=def. not good for the body. Didn't your parents ever tell you not to eat all your easter candie or you'll get sick:)
well, I don't point to the candies, but to the lemon flavour of the candies which of course tasted sour..(we define sour as acidic...)
So, is my stomachache is caused by thos acidity of the lemon candies? I mean to many eating candies = increasing acidity.... Q: Why are chemists great for solving problems?
A: They have all the solutions.
