Dear all members! Im a new member in this forum, It is nice to join here.

I have some problems as below, please give me a little time to explain for me! I am indeed your helps in hurry. Thank in advance.

1- " Explaining the methods which use for predicting the gene function when you know perfectly the gene sequence"

2- " Describing the analysis techniques and the applications of the genetic polymorphism of animal genome"

Please give me some main points for the two above question.

Explaining the methods which use for predicting the gene function when you know perfectly the gene sequence

From what i know there are specific aminoacid sequences that are common in more than one protein. So if your gene contains a specific set of nucleotides, you will able to predict the function of the protein
Is this what you mean?

well, this is a bioinformatics forum so i guess you could just plug it into a database like the ncbi one and find similar matches. At least for plasmids anyway. haven't used it for anything else
