genetic foodsHallo everybody...! I am new here & I am very exhited about it!
I am concerned about genetic foods and I can't bary my fears. I would like if possible an analytic referral to the topic. thanks[/b] koumis_99
what do you mean by saying 'genetic foods'? Do you mean genetically engineered foods or something else?
It matters not how strait the gate
How charged with punishment the scroll I am the Master of my fate I am the Captain of my soul.
Re: genetic foodsHI! If you mean on genetically engineered food, I think that there are + and - of using such food.
+: better harvest(cause they’re resistant) so more food ,larger energy value(you can add genes for some important proteins),… -: plants can be so resistant(not to mention that viruses can “throw in “ that gene to weed…) that if you want to destroy them you need more powerfull chemicals, some people are allergic to some sort of food so if you add that protein to a different kind of food the allergic will appear…, the “originally” organisms can be pushed back by engineered organisms so they can dissapear,… Not for use of that food but for medical uses of genetic engineering yes.
DefinitionDoes anyone know if there is a different between these two terms:
Biologically Engineered food and Genetically Engineered food cheers
