ZOOplankton is the key part of the word...

Zoon in greek is animal. Are animals considered photosynthetic organisms?

College Rajnandagon state chattisgarh INDIA. sir i doing my phd in the subject of limnology. and the study of phytoplankton and zooplankto is the part of my researech, if u have any litrature which is related to quanititative and qualitative study of plankton u send me realy this is very helpful for my work.

Some are photosynthetic - some are not, and their biology is not limited by the term used to refer to the group.
