Hi i am doing a biology report about the hybrids from lions and tigers (Tigons and Ligers). I was wondering if you guys could help me find some websites and books on the topic. Also i need the DNA reason why they can still interbreed and the evolutionary tree for both.

Yo, found a couple sites. Hope that they help . By the way, because they're hybrids and not an actual species, I don't think they have a specific phylum or order or family.
Interesting Topic INU, Tony Guo right? Anyways you might want to check out books on hyrbid zones rather than ligers and tigons. Harrison published many books on the topic you want to study. There are also many published articles on the Henderson library database.
Wait, who's talking to who here? I mean...Inuyasha posted his question, and then Dragon replied...and Inuyasha's helping out Dragon? I'm confused. Oh well.
It kinda seems like u (Inu) and Snake are having the same kind report stuff. For school, it seems? Just give me the entire question, and I'll send you a loada sites, hahaha.
O ok. I was wondering if Inu could post up a picture of a liger or something, cuz my comp tends to run pretty slow when loading sites with a lot of images, and they just end up with the text showing and the pictures not showing at all. It'll just be interesting to see it, that's all.
There are 10 types of people in this world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.
Ti-tigons are the rarest and most awesome of all hybrid cats. If you haven't seen a picture of one then you really should. They are 3/4 tiger and 1/4 lion. Really amazing looking creatures. I'll find a picture soon hopefully.
