cloning- save endangered species?

it can be? the study from west show that it may succeed and has a potential. but the death of dolly a little bit give a low confident to the ability of this techinques to continue this cloning. recently,2 wild cow from species banteng born from this techniques in lowa, us. so, it seem to give new hope that this cross breeding cloning can solve extinct problem for 100 species.
