Hello!

Do you know, which species (Ensifera) this is?

I made these photos in Tapanti National Park in Costa Rica 14th of May.

Or do you know a forum about Orthoptera?

Greetings, Xaver...

What I quote from Wikipedia is just like this:
Ensifera is a suborder of the order Orthoptera, comprising insects commonly known as crickets, katydids and Long-horned Grasshoppers. Ensifer means 'sword bearer' in latin, and refers to the typically elongated and blade-like ovipositor of the females. The classification of the suborder was drastically revised in December of 2005 by the Orthopterists' Society.

I think that you have to search about Orthopterists' Society by your own...
Q: Why are chemists great for solving problems?
A: They have all the solutions.

Mecopoda elongata. Or not.
But the genus is Mecopoda.
...there will be fireflies and glow-worms at night to guide you and butterflies in the hedges and forests to greet you...
