Postby new_guy » Sat Mar 25, 2006 2:53 pm

I mean the skin around my eyes....... they look blacker than normal... especially at the bottom...

Don't know how it's called in english. The main reasons that can be behind this are: stres, lack of sleep, cronic fatigue etc. Also something similar arises from consuming too much alcohol in some people.

Of course this is only what i think. It would be imposiible even for a real doctor to figure it out on the internet.

Have you been punched in the eye lately? :P

Sorry, I couldn't resist. 8)

You have blood showing under skin of eye, akin to bruising but not trauma induced (unless punched like alex said, haha). Get some sleep :)
The hand of God may well be all around us, but it is not, nor can it be, the task of science to dust for fingerprints.

I know it can be more of a problem with some nationalities.

I know an old Italian man who has them really bad.
He said the doctor said allergies. Most likely food allergies.

My husband gets them sometimes too, and he is latin.

It's pretty simple. If you work too hard or sit in front of the television or the computer, your eye is under stress. So you will need to make sure you do not stress your eyes too much.

Did this change in pigmentation come on suddenly, or has it always been there?
