Postby Khan on Thu Mar 16, 2006 4:58 am

Does the oxidation of Vitamin C aka Ascorbic acid into Dehydroascorbic acid help make collagen that is necessary for reparing in the body? If not, what does the oxidation of ascorbic acid do? i'd really appreciate if anyone could answer my question.

thanks.
