Some interesting data you have posted there David George. I was stationed in the Philippine Islands for about six years while in the U.S. Navy and those eagles they have over there are really something else. It seems that here a while back they were featured on Nature on PBS. Quite large and awesome they were.

Sorry to ask you Mr Ramos but do you have any photos of the monkey eating eagle.I have only seen a martial eagle in Kenya thats when I recognised tha eagles are huge creatures especially when I saw it flying.

For Louisiana it's the alligator and the pelican.

State bird is the Black Capped Chickadee and the Wild Turkey is state game animal State bug: Lady bug State flower: May Flower (probably because of the ship that brought the pilgrims) Morgan horse was developed here and State dog is the Boston terrier. I am sure glad there are no Tigers!!!!! Only nice little Mountain Lions "How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of the weak and strong. Because someday in life you will have been all of these".

Speaking about turkey I remember once I read the the US president franklin[the president in the 100 US dollar note] planned to make turkey as the national bird because he liked its calmness but it was changed to the Bald Eagle.

Yeah, I think they made it the bald eagle because nobody wanted our national bird to be something we shoot at for Christmas dinner. And the most dangerous animal in the world is Homo sapiens. I am man, hear me roar.
