Fatty acid and amino acid metabolism

Anybody have any study tips for fatty acid metabolism, amino acid degredation and synthesis? I feel overwhelmed with structures and pathways and enzymes that catalyze the reactions and I am looking for a way to sort it out and commit them to memory but they are all do simmilar.

Any suggestions would be helpful Thanks!!!
