Germination of Marrowfat peas

Postby eleanor on Tue Mar 07, 2006 6:44 pm

Hiya Eleanor here. I need some information about the germination of marrowfat peas for my science experiment. I have to find out that marrowfat peas germinate faster if they're soaked in water beforehand. Please reply asap. Thank you in advance. eleanor

PS. do you know a similarly brilliant physics website? If you do please reply

from what i know, enzymes function better in a solute state, and the reason why plants germinate if you put them in the ground is the intake of water by the seed. You can do the experiment, by placing the seeds on a cotton plate and regularily watering them to prove it...
