If you mean used as energy, then beta oxidation of triglycerides produces Acetyl coA, a component of the Kreb cycle. This is one way.

if the lipid absorption, ya it passes bete oxidation and CTA, and will be absorped in intestine together with lipid soluble vitamins...
if the lipid is not used, it will be stored in adippose tissue...
