Endangered species in the world!!!Hey folks..
Is there any animal which is endangered or close to extinct in your country? and what solutions developed for the conservation of this animal?
Used to be redfish and alligators here in Louisiana. The state government made it illegal to hunt both for many years until the populations recovered; now hunting is regulated as a means of population control and both species are thriving. I can't think of any one species in Louisiana that's currently endangered, but the entire ecosystem is under serious threat from coastal erosion. What's being done about that? There's plenty of good ideas, but the federal government won't fund it and the state government is bankrupt after Katrina. Yet another triumph of politics over necessity.
Generally speaking, the more people talk about "being saved," the further away they actually are from true salvation.
