Vaccination for HIVi've read an article saying that there are vaccines for HIV. is it is so, why the people is not vaccinate now? is there any side effect? how can i get the information about the vaccines for HIV?
thank you
Yeah, that's why they use that drug cocktail, with all kinds of different drugs, to help slow down the viri from adapting to one type of drug. But I didn't know about the new vaccine. Where did you hear about it from? I would like to read the article if you have a link to it.
There's already a vaccine for HIV, but still in further research and experiment....they (scientists) say that this vaccine is a gel-like vaccine which contains microbicide agent which is named.....*forget*..
this vaccine works in different way instead as a HIV protease inhibitor (indinavir, etc.) or nucleoside analogous... I'll tell you if there's new info about this... Q: Why are chemists great for solving problems?
A: They have all the solutions.
The problem with HIV is that the virus itself keeps adapting to the new environments inside the body. As soon as a new vaccine is used for a patient, the virus begins to adapt until it reaches a point where the vaccine is practically useless. That's why we have to keep finding new vaccines. Some doctors have thought of a possible treatment where the patient is taken off drugs for a period of time so that the original virus starts to appear in the body and then attack it with a vaccine hoping to kill the original virus.
"In omnias paratus!"
Unfortunately, when that time come, another HIV-alliance-virus has come into your body and starting another disseases...
