H2O help-adhesion or cohesion?I am having a lot of trouble pointing out the differences between adhesion and cohesion-they seem like the same thing. Anyone have some good pointers on remembering the key differences?
Think of adhesive duct tape. Duct tape is used to stick to things. Just remember the "d"s, and you'll remember that adhesion means to stick to other things.
For cohesion, just think of the something like "(Insert favorite sports team) are very cohesive. They really stick together." That's how I've always remembered it.
