why is that babies can live on milk for more than a yaer while adults can not :?:

because of their metabolism product necessity...or...just compare between adults bodies and baby's...:wink:

adults have alot more cells to feed and so need more nutrients, look in a text book in the dietary requirements and you should see the differences in metabolism over the years

It's not that their body CAN live on it....it's that they SHOULD live on it because:
1. They get passive immunity from mom
2. They're stomachs are not able to digest solids right away
3. No teeth for grinding food
