Plants can have cancer but its different then human cancer. Human cancer occurs when cells uncontrollably divide. Normal cells grow and divide and highly control rates. Cancerous cells lose their ability to senesce and will proliferate at uncontrolable rates. Plant cancer is uncontrollable growth without differentiation. These are both VERY general discriptions. Their are similarities without a doubt and Im sure that there is current research going on to prove any usable connections.
