bone marrow
(Science: haematology) The soft, spongy tissue found in the centre of most large bones that produces the cellular components of blood: white cells, red cells and platelets (haemopoiesis). It is also the most radiation sensitive tissue of the body.

The fatty network of connective tissue that fills the cavities of bones.

Very tender and very nutritious tissue from marrowbones.

Found in the bone, is responsible for the creation of blood cells.

Do you have any more information on this, Poison? It's fascinating. One would think it was the least sensitive...as there is a calcium layer of bone radiation must penetrate to get to the marrow. Granted, calcium is a poor protection from radiation, but it's still a little better than simply nothing.
