The bone is a living tissue, liam, even if it so hard. It is irrigated by many small blood aretries and venes. The blood simply pass ebtween the 2 environments, i guess

YES, bones contain capillaries. Every living animal tissue needs capilaries. Sorry, don't have any web sites about this.. just a lot of books.
