I don't think so... The DNA would not match. You can cross plants of different species, but not using classical methods, but with very advanced genetic engineering methods. This was first done by a researcher in the Soviet Union, who wanted to cross radish with cabage and get a plant with radish roots and cabage leaves. His experiment was kinds succesful, as he obtained a plant with radish leaves and cabage roots. Through his hillarious result, he proved that genetically crossing 2 plants with very different DNA was possible. However, because Stalin thought he had wasted the country's money in vaine, Stalin shot him.

PS: this reminds me of the movie "Bruce allmighty". Bruce(who had all god's powers) gave his girlfriend a flower obtained by crossing tulips and daisies. He called the "totadasies"
