Postby aquaticorganism » Sun Feb 12, 2006 2:25 pm

Hi, :D

I do not understand the meaning of some word below when I read the book of phylogenetic systematic. I can not see them in dictionary. Can you help me to understand them?

1. synapomorphies
2. autapomorphies
3.homoplasies
4.symplesiomorphy
5.holapomorphy
6.paraphyletic

Do you know how differ from phenogram, cladogram and evolution tree?

Thank you for your help!
