Try to find some references about why frozen water can float on the liquid water??? and what are the advantages from that phenomenon??

sorry my friend, because I have 2 reasons for this..

first, just think again, what creature we are?? Endotermic aren't we?? so, how can we reach -2 ºC then? beside, if we can live at -2 ºC then we'll also die fast due to dissease, because cold temperature act as immunosurpresant agent which surpress our immune system.. (at least that's what I hear from immunology )

second, sorry fella, until now they haven't discovered any other substances which is unique (can form a long chain of macromolecule) like Carbon..

So, still can't accept it??

hey all of you..a lil bit correction..
after take a look and searching in my organic chemie book, I found that:
- Methanol boiling point is 65 ºC
- Methanol can form hydrogen bond but the bonds are not as "rich" as water has.
- Methanol form a perfect solution with water. (mixed perfectly)..
