Hmm... If you think straightly, it should be division. This might not seem logical but note that if cell doesn't make respiration, nothing can be done for growing or such kind of things.

If the cell doesn't move then it can't respire. Unless of course it was fed intravenously(uh, the cellular equivalent)

A cell would still be able to respire... it still would have to cary out every day reactions that need ATP to get started
