Tangerine & Mandarin Orange

Postby Navin on Fri Jan 27, 2006 3:47 am

This may not really be biology, just general knowledge but anyway, I would like to know whats the difference between a tangerine, a mandarin orange and a normal orange. (It's Chinese New Year here, and i'm eating lots of oranges and this question came to my mind)

Also, I would like to know why is it that some oranges' skin can be peeled easily whilst others can't.

Thanks.

It means that then we can hybridize them, right? I wonder how the offsprings will be :)
