DNA... Genetic Code Question... About Codons... Please HelpAlright I am in need of some major help...
I am studying the genetic code in relation to protein synthesis regarding DNA... And... I need to figure out why there are 3 STOP CODONS, and only 1 start codon... And I need some data to back it up... If this question seems unclear please tell me and I will add extra details. Anyone who could possibly help me or direct me to a website I would greatly appreciate it... Thanks--- Alexander
this is happen because our late scientist can't determine all the protein translation by using douplet codon (4^2 = 16, while all the amino acids are 21)..then, they agree to use triplet codon (4^3 = 64).
Now see...the possible codons (triplet) are 64 while all the translated amino acids are only 21...this shows a degradation, where 1 amino acid can be translated by one or more codons... the story continues with the testing of all those 64 codons and the result is like all you can see now... well, the story ends here..hope you like my story.. Q: Why are chemists great for solving problems?
A: They have all the solutions.
