why the bones contract after death?

Dear Friends,
I am observing from a long time, that after cutting birds, animals, and after dead of human being. The whole body started contracting, and the joints become immove-able, may be the answer is that synovial fluid vanished when one die, but how? because when one is alive synovial fluid is present b/w joints and work as a lubricant, help in moving. And when one die there is no change in protecting coat of body i.e., skin remain. And also the blood is availabe.
Than what is the reason behind diz contracting of body, and becoming of joints immoveable.

I'm thinking that the bones shrink because of loss of water....and the joints are immovable because of the loss of the fluids aroung them.

Wait, I think the title is wrong, bones can't contract I have no clue yet, but I think opuntia's opinion makes sense. Another opinion, when animals die, their circulatory system stops, means that no energy supply to organs thus cells will start to die and functionless.

Actually, I am satisfy with Puntia's opinion that bone shrinks because of the loss water and Dr. Stein's opinion that circulatory system stops. But I am not satisfy with this opinion that joints become im-moveable because of the loss of fluid. Because I have seen personally the fluid in joints, when it become im-moveable.

I'm not very sure if it's the right answer but from what i know, the fliuds around the joints help in it's movement so i thought that if they dry up, the joints would become immovable...anyway, i'll try to find anything more about it and get my facts right

Only a structure with contractile protein(s) can contract or shrink I think it is joints that "shrink" thus take effect on bones attached to them. I am sorry I still have no clue though my head gears keep spinning to solve this problem aww I found this is a very interesting topic But here if I may to recall about joint, it is where two bones are connected or called as junction. Most joints are composed of cartilage, joint space, fibrous capsule, synovium, and ligaments. Of course there is matrix and intercellular tissues in these structures to supply nutrients for cells that built them... Aww it seems I am going to be back on circulatory system again! Ahahahaaa... What a Dr.Stein Gimme some times to make another make-sense argument

Dear Friends,
I finally find some clue, which is made by my own brain, but it is not experimental verified, as I am only a student of 1st year of BIOMEDICAL Engineering from Pakistan.
I think the body contract, and joints become im-moveable because of following reasons.
As Dr. Stein said that when one died circulatory system stops working thus transfer of energy to organs/body/bones ended.
Now, since heat is also apart of energy.When transfer of energy cease, the body cools down. Since we know that from KMT that velocity of body is directly proportional to Heat, when body becomes cold, velocity of molecules present in body decreases, which resulted in least collision b/w molecules of body, they come together and the body shrink or contract. ( under Physics Light )
Now, when the body/bones further joint contract the mechanical work of joint disturbed, thus they become im-moveable.
