penguins in the rainforest! READ NOW!!!!ok so the project is due tomorrow! can someone tell me some ways a penguin would adapt to the rainforest other than the ones i thought of which are
1. get rid of excess fat 2. learn to fly cuz there's more predators 3. get bigger feet so they can swim deeper 4. eat vegtables ^^& do those even make sense?! thank u!! <3
they are warm blooded(They also use fat as insulation), they would have less feathers(they dont need as much insulation), They would have to develop some sort of defense(against snakes etc...), Change color(black and white would make them an easy target), They would adapt different legs(so they could move faster. Hope it helps

oh wow thank u so much that helped a lot and so now i know how a penguin would adapt to a rainforest and to the Artic, but i'm having a little trouble with figuring out 5 ways a penguin would adapt to a mountain. Here's the scenerio given:
This island is full of rocky terain, steep clidds, and multiple vicious predators. Can anyone help?! i can probably figure it out but i would love to hear any of your ideas!!
ok and for the rainforest thing its like: How would u get ur evolved animal to speciate on this rainforest island? keep in consideration that it's an island. any ideas with that?!
