Cricket labI just got assigned a cricket lab. I'm thinking of studying if stress in the form of limited living space affects them. I'm thinking they would be more sluggish. So I'm going to stuff maybe 20 crickets in a large glass case and another 20 in a much smaller glass case. Can anyone think of any way to measure their activity levels i.e. quantitative data?
I'm also having trouble finding a "control" variable since I'm just varying the sizes of their living area. Living one day at a time;
