Reproductive Isolating MechanismsModerator: BioTeam

Reproductive Isolating MechanismsI was reviewing for a test when I came across the following piece of information to study:
" List and describe how any 3 reproductive isolating mechanisms function to maintain species boundaries. " Would this refer to pre-zygotic mechanisms (ecological, temporal, behavioral, etc.) or post-zygotic mechanisms (hybrid inviability, hybrid sterility, and hybrid breakdown)? Thanks!
Since both pre-zygotic and post-zygotic mechanisms work to preserve species boundaries, I think that either would work as answers.
I just saw your location. I'm originally from a town very near Asheville. Neat.
Re: Pre and Post ZygoticThanks for the help! I'll use both the pre and post-zygotic mechanisms to study. Representing Western N.C.
