Wierd animals and you!Perhaps one of the most strangest animals I have heard of is the Giant Squid. It was believed to be little more than a figment of sailor stories until dead squids began washing up on the beach reaching a wopping 50-70 ft.!
My concern is, no one seems to have filmed a living one, but people have deffinetly seen them before (where would the stories have come from) which means they have surfaced before, scince no one has seen a living one in so long they were considered a myth (until now). I guess what I am asking is, why would these dwellers of the deep rise to the surface of the ocean, and why did they stop? You can always FIND what your looking for but you can only DISCOVER what you didn't know.

Actually the platapus is a relicve of evolution, like the cangaroo
"As a biologist, I firmly believe that when you're dead, you're dead. Except for what you live behind in history. That's the only afterlife" - J. Craig Venter
other animals that are fascinating are hagfish, giant squid, and poison dart frogs. those things are deadly
