brain tumourwhy do tumours in brain not metastasize???
cause..cause nerven cells can not reproduce. but there is another question. if they can not reproduce, how can lung canser spread to brain? there are other small cells in brain, which can reproduce.

Quite true. Brain tumors are not caused by the haotic division of brain cells(neurons). they are caused by the division of glial cells, helper cells of the neuron, who are even in healthy state 10 times more numerous than them. Glial cells divide into: astrocites, schwamm cells, oligodentrocytes and glioblasts

That's not right. Brain tumors DO metastasize. But the fact is that the person usually dies before metastasis. Plus, some benign tumors in brain, such as meningioma (hope I remember its english name right), can metastasize too. This is what a neurosurgery professor said.

Fuhh....lucky me ecause I take Virology und iochemistry....
just imagine if I tke immunebio....I'll get a snake bite around my body... Q: Why are chemists great for solving problems?
A: They have all the solutions.
yes, cancer can be studied in many fields, molecular bio, biochemistry, genetics and so on. But I prefer molecular bio and biochemistry.
Well, OK Dr. Stein, I won't get Immunobiology. It matters not how strait the gate

If anyone touches cell bio and/or photosynthesis you're dead!!

oh, some cell bio wouldn't hurt, Andrew. ( I will need it for cancer

Which reminds me, i need to brush up on my photosynthesis, i haven't revised the biochemical pathways for several months now...
